Glycomet-500 SR Tablet is commonly prescribed to help manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to a class of anti-diabetic medications known as biguanides. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the body’s ability to regulate blood sugar (glucose) effectively.

Glycomet-500 SR is usually recommended when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient to control blood glucose levels. It contains Metformin as the active ingredient, which works by:
